Next, do you know where the name of the place where you live came from?
This month we start a series on place name origins by examining North American place

Our "Handy Sites of the Month" are two of the titans of internet genealogy.
Join us as we explore familysearch.org and Cyndi's List. This article is a must

Finally, we conclude our two part series on using search engines more effectively.

What's New?
Work on the new familyhistoryplace.net continues. At this point we don't have an exact time for the launch of the new version. We're likely targeting fall 2008. Additionally, no new newsletters will be released during this time as we continue to dedicate our resources towards the development of the new version of our site.
